Corimec prefabricated buildings in Spoleto and Dongo
Corimec Italiana S.p.A., a leading company in the field of designing, manufacturing and assembling prefabricated units, has recently acquired two important porjects: the realisation of an industrial building to erect at the plant "Ferriere and Fonderie di Dongo S.p.A." in Dongo, which will be used for working of aluminium casting, and the design and the realisation of an industrial building to erect at the plant "Alluminio Spoleto S.p.A." in Spoleto, which will be used for foundry and pre-working of aluminium casting.
The Dongo realization is a two-storied building,
made up of prefabricated members in prestressed reinforced concrete (beams
and bent tiles) and vibrated reinforced concrete (pillars) on a structural
frame.The total working area is about 9000 sq.m. The whole structure has
been calculated to bear, besides the dead load, a total overload of 2000
kg./sq.m. for the floor of the first storey and of 500 kg./sq.m. for the
covering floor (destined to a parking for about 200 cars). Delivery is
foreseen within the end of year 2000.
The Spoleto realization is a building made up of a metal (Fe 510) frame,
composed of lattice columns, trusses and truss bearing trestles, pre-assembled
at the factory and then bolted on the structural frame. External walls
will be realised with vibrated reinforced concrete panels up to a 2,50
m. height and then with 50 mm. thick sandwich panels up to the ridge.
Delivery is foreseen by August 2000.
